Who We Are
North Thompson Baptist Church is a body of born-again believers that the Lord has brought together to worship and serve Him.(Romans 12:1-21) We believe that Jesus is the head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23) and we are the body. (1 Corinthians 12:27) To that end, God has given all members certain gifts and talents that He would have us use to glorify Him. (1 Corinthians 12:4)
North Thompson has a mission to bring the lost to Christ and disciple believers to live a fulfilling spiritual life. (Matthew 28:19-20) We preach and teach from the Holy Bible ( II Timothy 3:16) and emphasize salvation is a gift from God. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We strongly believe in Christian growth through teaching and discipleship training, (Colossians 1:28) Our Sunday school program provides age-specific classes so all students grow at their individual pace.
